Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Person to join our team. Knowledge of minerals and fossils preferred but an active interest is also acceptable. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, can engage customers and preferably has sales experience. This position can be an opportunity for someone who can manage social media and website listings/photography. Must be available weekends and must be able to lift 50 lbs. P/T Seasonal to start with more potentially for the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist customers in selecting and trying on jewelry items
- Educate customers on our pieces.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all displays and indoor/outdoor areas.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and product knowledge
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide a seamless shopping experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Proficient in using technology for sales purposes
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and quality

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
