Wire drawing is a metalworking process used to reduce the cross-section of a wire by pulling the wire through a single, or series of, drawing die(s) to meet customer specifications.
Draw round, shaped wire in various alloys meeting product specifications
Set up, operate bull block, 8 strand and 10 strand wire drawing equipment
Operate batch, strand annealing furnaces
Follow documented procedures and process routers for various alloys
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents
and near misses
Must be able to pass a background and drug test.
