AstroNova is looking for full-time PCB Assembler. The hours for the position are 7:00am- 3:30pm. Position Summary/Objective
The PCB Assembler will follow engineering drawings and work instructions to assemble printed circuit boards and hand solder components to meet quality standards and industry guidelines.
Assembles printed circuit boards according to engineering drawings, hand soldering through-hole and SMD
components in accordance with J-STD-001.
Leaded and lead-free soldering on fine pitch components in various packages.
Performing PCB re-works in accordance with engineering documentation and IPC-7711/7721.
Applying RTV silicone per engineering drawings and manufacturing procedures, masking PCBs for conformal
coating.
Recording build data including expiration dates and calibration dates, ensuring validity for each at the time of
assembly.
Maintains neat and orderly workstation.
Performs other duties from time to time as directed.

Experience hand soldering through-hole and SMD fine pitch components
Experience reading engineering drawings
Basic computer skills including MS Office
