Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Shuttle Driver to join the team.
Nestled on 40 acres overlooking the southwestern corner of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn – a Relais & Chateaux hotel – is a coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a spectacular New England backdrop, a location that is second to none. The property features guest rooms that are perched on the sand dunes of our private beach, a banquet facility, and two restaurants featuring the talents of the culinary team. About the Position: In the Shuttle Driver role, you will be responsible for transporting guests and employees back and forth to downtown Newport. Typical shifts will range from 7:00AM-2:00PM and 2:00PM-9:00PM
About You: You have a passion for hospitality and a strong service background whom pleasing and impressing guests comes naturally.
Essential Duties:
Drive to and from assigned locations.
communicate issues effectively- timing, traffic patterns, etc.
obey state and local traffic laws and regulations.
provide lateral service when needed in valet department.
Qualifications:
Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
A minimum of 3 years driving experience required
Must be 21 years old +
Must have a valid driver’s license
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Driving experience in all types of passenger vehicles and standard stick shift is required with a minimum of three years driving experience.
Valid US driver’s license. Must be over the age of 21. Must pass driving record check and be eligible to be insured by NHC liability insurance carrier
