Grill and Fryer Cook

Sample of Responsibilities:
Use the grill top, fryer, hot holding and ovens to cook menu items to perfection every time
Ensure that food comes out in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Prepare food for service (May involve chopping vegetables, breading cutlets, portioning items)
Follow chefs instructions
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a grill cook or similar experience
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industry’s best practices
