Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Dining Room Supervisor to join the team.

Nestled on 40 acres overlooking the southwestern corner of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn – a Relais & Chateaux hotel – is a coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a spectacular New England backdrop, a location that is second to none. The property features guest rooms that are perched on the sand dunes of our private beach, a banquet facility, and two restaurants featuring the talents of the culinary team. About the Position: The Dining Room supervisor is responsible for supporting the Management team by overseeing and leading the daily restaurant operations. This individual will be responsible for contributing to the overall service quality of the restaurant by providing technical support to the team and ensuring a quality guest experience.

About You: You have a strong hospitality and service background whom pleasing and impressing guests comes naturally. This position is perfect for a motivated person who is looking to grow their career.

Essential Duties:

Ensuring a quality guest experience by managing all aspects of the daily operations

Opening and closing of restaurant. Monitoring daily setup/ breakdown of the restaurant including side work responsibilities of FOH staff

Front door management and support

Table section maintenance and support

Guest intervention, table touches, food allergy awareness and support

Maintaining a professional relationship with other managers and subordinates

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role in an upscale, high-volume establishment

Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed

Prior experience a plus but not required

Skills & Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds

Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive compensation $24-$28/Hour!
