We're a busy, New England poke creating healthy and tasty meals for pick up and delivery. We need reliable and efficient Line/Prep staff to join our team and be key in getting our food ready for our customers. What You'll Bring:
2 + years experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a professional kitchen is preferred.
Ability to understand and follow recipes accurately.
Good knife skills and basic food preparation techniques.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Basic understanding of food safety practices.
Valid ServSafe Certification mandatory or must achieve within 30 days of hire.
As a Key Member of Our Team, You Will:
Set Up Your Station: Organize your workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment for efficient preparation.
Prepare Ingredients with Precision: Chop vegetables, portion proteins, and prepare other ingredients according to established recipes and quality standards.
Assemble Dishes: Follow recipes accurately to assemble menu items, ensuring consistent taste and presentation.
Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace: Keep your station clean, sanitized, and well-organized throughout your shift.
Follow Production Schedules: Work efficiently to meet production timelines and ensure timely meal preparation for the day.
Adhere to Food Safety Regulations: Follow all health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation.
Assist with Receiving and Storage: Help with putting away deliveries and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
This Position is for Thursday and weekend closing hours, 2pm-9:30pm Friday and Saturday. 24 hours per week.
