About the Position: In the Cashier role, you will scan the items, request price checks, honor coupons, collect payment, and give change back to the customer as appropriate.
About You: You have a strong sense of urgency, great organizational skills, and a positive attitude. You have strong customer service skills.
Essential Duties:
Greets customers as they enter the location
Bag, box, and wrap purchased items.
Follows proper check, credit and debit card procedures
Assists supervisor in controlling customer flow and backed up lines – helping reduce customer waiting time
Cleans and stocks Front End areas, including own register – changing tapes and ribbon as necessary.
Provides excellent customer service, addresses need of customers in a timely and effective manner
Qualifications:
Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
Prior experience a plus but not required
Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
Strong customer service skills
Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
Compensation and Benefits:
