The team’s focus is on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized and automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an upbeat and creative environment. We are unencumbered and will need your contribution to make it an elite engineering and data science center with the focus on excellence.HDI is looking for an experienced Applied Science focused development manager who can build and lead a development team of Applied scientists and engineers to help solve difficult problems, be creative, create success for customers, and engage with the product team to do some innovative research and development. The ideal candidate should possess a strong research background, preferably with a master’s or PhD in AI and related fields, and have a consistent record in running successful AI projects. The candidate should also have experience in building and leading high-performing teams, with demonstrated leadership and people management skills.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
Manage and control activities in multi-functional areas of sections to ensure seamless teamwork and coordination.
Execute appropriate operational planning to meet corporate requirements and deliver AI products with exceptional quality and efficiency.
Lead the AI Product Development team in achieving objectives and targets, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
Cultivate a culture of innovation and creativity within the team, encouraging the development of innovative AI solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI projects with overall organizational goals and strategies.
Utilize strong analytical skills to assess project progress, identify challenges, and implement solutions to ensure project success.
Communicate effectively with team members, partners, and senior management, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of product development processes and methodologies, ensuring their effective implementation.
Requirements:
A master or PhD or equivalent experience in AI or a related field, with a research background that demonstrates a deep understanding of AI technologies and methodologies, is helpful but not a must.
Proven experience in successfully running AI projects, from conception to delivery, with a focus on meeting deadlines and quality benchmarks.
Previous experience in building and leading successful teams, with a track record of fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
