Portfolio brands include Foresight Sports, Bushnell Golf, Fox, Bell, Giro, CamelBak, Bushnell, Simms Fishing and more.We are looking for a creative and strategic Head of Communications, Social Media, and Public Relations to join our team. In this role, you will be the driving force for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance the company’s brand image, reputation, and visibility. As a creative and strategic thinker, and a steward of the Revelyst brand, the Sr. Director will foster rich connections with our vast and passionate communities of employees, users, retailers, and industry influencers through genuine storytelling and engagement.This position reports to the CEO and is based out of Providence, Rhode Island .As the Head of Communications, Social Media, and Public Relations, you’ll have an opportunity to:

Create, align, manage, and execute the external communications strategy for Revelyst.

Develop and oversee media relations and thought-leadership opportunities externally & internally and across digital, print and broadcast channels for executive and platform leadership.

Support the quarterly earnings process, including writing, editing scripts, and developing communications materials in support of the earnings press release and conference call.

Prepare and disseminate corporate, brand and product news and company-wide initiatives that positively impact the external communications strategy, including management of the revelyst.com newsroom.

Create and execute our Revelyst social media strategy, ensuring that our brand voice is consistently maintained across all platforms. This would include developing and implementing innovative social media campaigns, managing daily posts, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize engagement and reach.

Serve as a strategic partner to platform and brand communications teams; ensure message consistency on issues in which brand and corporate interests overlap, including, but not limited to crisis communications, product recalls, media training and major brand-level press releases.

Direct and oversee agencies across projects and activities to ensure overall external communications strategies and tactics are being executed as intended by third party partners.

Work closely with other corporate functions in support of their mission, including, but not limited to: Investor Relations, Legal, Government Relations and the Revelyst Foundation.

Serve as Revelyst’ s liaison with various outdoor industry trade associations.

Manage the relationships with our external agency partners, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to achieve our strategic goals.

Collaborate effectively with our Platform teams for the different trade shows we participate in throughout the year and manage & communicate the overall trade show process to guarantee smooth coordination and active participation at each event.

Oversee original Revelyst content creation, including written articles and short and long-form videos, and collaborate with individual maker brands to source compelling content.

Utilize analytics to measure content effectiveness, informing strategy adjustments and reporting on ROI with a clear focus on desired outcomes such as increased engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation.

Craft and execute short and long-term content strategies that align with Revelyst brand initiatives, effectively telling our story and the stories of our maker brands across external and internal channels.

With CEO, craft and manage Board of Director communications and update as needed.

You have:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field

A minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, public relations, social media with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Experience working with a multi-brand company.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.

Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
