OverviewAn ABM Facility Manager is responsible for the operational success of his/her account. The Facility Manager must lead a diverse team, engage in regular client interaction, develop internal and external relationships, deliver operational goals, manage and forecast an accurate budget, manage vendors, interface with senior leadership and work to continuously develop operational team members.Compensation: $85,000-$100,000 annual salary (US Dollars)The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Maintain constant communication with clients to ensure consistent and satisfactory service.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
Ensure quality services are provided in accordance with account requirements.
Maintain effective and robust quality assurance programs.
Identify and correct problems pertaining to productivity and efficiency.
Employee Relations and Supervision
Create a team-oriented environment where employees can learn and succeed.
Create positive employee morale within your account.
Demonstrate solid leadership skills.
Ensure employees understand their responsibilities and are properly trained.
Regularly review employee performance and address performance issues.
Provide support and leadership in special projects/initiatives, as directed by regional, division or corporate-level management.
Ensure that all audits, including HR, Safety and Risk Management audits, achieve satisfactory results. Investigate and correct issues identified in audits.
Understand applicable union contracts and develop effective working relationship with local labor unions.

Screen, hire, supervise, and coordinate training activities for engineering staff.
Provide technical support, job delegation, and project management to engineering team.
Assist with reducing operating expenses while maintaining and enhancing the quality of the services provided.
Assist in generating and executing budgets
Assist with generating scope for /RFA/RFP.
Assist in project management.
Outline a seamless customer impact.
Ensure safety guidelines are followed.
Provide on time updates to Client.
Assist with construction projects
Review construction drawings to ensure standards are followed.
Collaborate with GC's on impacts to existing customers, FLS impairments, warranty work, etc.
Oversee commissioning of new equipment.
Vendor contract review and management.
Monitor and control energy efficiency.
Assist with generating SOP's
Ensure OSHA compliance.
Respond and support after hours emergencies when needed.
Performance evaluations, disciplinary action, and pay increase recommendations.
Ensure team development goals are outlined and met.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree, preferred. HS Diploma/GED Required.
Understanding of the service industry trends, practices, and process.
5+ years prior management or supervisor experience in the janitorial or facilities field.
Solid business acumen
