Bridge Inspection Team Leader

Does your ideal Bridge Inspection role include leading/mentoring people and performing design, calculations, estimates, planning and more? AECOM is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader to be based out of our office in Providence, RI.  With over 1400 bridges in Rhode Island, you can expect a variety of project work while staying close to home!The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Performs field inspections according to requirements of RIDOT Bridge Inspection Manual and the FHWA National Bridge Inspection Standards.Supervises Team Members as well as access and equipment vendors.Work at heights, on ladders, on scaffolding and on aerial lifts, or other bridge inspection access equipment.Work in confined spaces, work adjacent to live traffic, work in or around water and work under adverse weather conditions.Work overnight as required, including work within railroad right-of-way.Prepares inspection reports.Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule.Participates in development of technical proposals.
