Create formal written quotes and proposals based on client specifications and knowledge of laboratory services.  Ensure that the lab has the appropriate certifications and can meet any technical specifications.Collaborate efforts and activities with those of Outside Sales account managers and technical staff, as neededTransition project wins from Business Development to Project ManagementManage proposal requests and generation of proposalsReview initial requests for proposal type, complexity, customer strategic importLead proposal generation process from initial decision to final proposalReview client requests for capabilities, certifications, scopeKeep all internal stakeholders informed throughout the processFacilitate and/or complete:Discussion on the proposal strategy and approachConfirm that lab certification(s) meets project requirementsConfirm that lab compound lists and limits and all technical aspects meet project requirementsDetermine the lab placement of the work Identifies and works with subcontract laboratoriesPricing coordinationGenerate the proposal documentsObtain approval by stakeholdersSubmit the proposalProposal Library text editing and updatingProposal Library maintenanceAssist with the development of new model proposal typesDocument updatesFollow up on the proposal & update proposal status in LIMS
