Closes 29-Nov-2024 (EST) | US Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport, RI, United States | Rhode Island | Full Time Rite-Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to support the development of Unmanned Maritime Autonomy Architecture (UMAA) related documentation, requirements analysis, and definition of test plans for various tactical software and autonomous vehicle systems development projects. You will develop system definitions, requirements and test plans using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methods and tools. This position is full time, located at NUWCDIVNPT in Newport, RI. Duties and Responsibilities:
UMAA systems analysis using MBSE tools such as CAMEO and MAGIC Draw
Develop system specifications including requirements definition and test planning for software, hardware and simulation systems in an undersea unmanned vehicle development environment.
Development of MBSE models/deliverables.
Maintain regular communications with customer and functional team leads
Requirements / Skills:
Must be a US citizen and hold an active (within 2 years) DoD security clearance at the SECRET level.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or similar field with minimum 7 years' experience in defense systems development; degree and/or experience requirements may be waived in lieu of specific advanced experience in MBSE tools and deliverables.
Working knowledge of the Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and its 9 diagrams.
Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, or other comparable system modeling tool.
Experience creating DoD standard systems documentation.
Additional Skills of Interest:
Experience in developing and/or testing undersea systems, autonomous vehicles
Familiarity with UMAA data modeling approaches.
Knowledge of Defense industry standards and practices.
Experience with MagicDraw's Code Engineering capabilities.
OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) certification.
INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) or Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
