Pricing Profitability Analyst -Home Equity

DescriptionThis is a position within the Consumer Lending Pricing & Profitability group, supporting the Home Equity business line. The Pricing & Profitability Analyst is responsible for business analytics, reporting, and profitability modeling to support the development of pricing recommendations and execution of pricing and product strategies. The successful candidate will need to have strong reporting and analytical skills in order to summarize large data sets into actionable insights based on financial and business indicators, and the ability to work with the business on improving business performance and delivering on strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities:

Monitor originations and return trends to set expectations for month end performance results and to support the development of pricing recommendations as needed

Provide competitive benchmarking reporting to inform the business of application, origination, and pricing trends in the marketplace

Support targeted pricing strategies by providing performance results at the pricing segment and channel level

Provide data and analytics to help evaluate financial and business impact of pricing changes and strategic initiatives

Work with Marketing and Product partners to evaluate the effectiveness of acquisition and retention campaigns

Provide portfolio analytics related to attrition and utilization trends by segment

Maintain projected profitability model - document, validate, and update inputs/assumptions as needed

Update pricing files and support rate change implementation efforts

Develop management presentations and business reviews

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in quantitative, financial and/or pricing analytics

Knowledge of accounting and finance concepts and techniques

Skilled in software applications

Experience with data extraction and manipulation

Excellent analytical and research skills, ability to interpret financial and business results to identify trends

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to work independently but also collaborate productively on team projects

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or business administration

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: M-F 8-5
