Human Resources SpecialistThis is a contract opportunity.This is a hybrid opportunity in Johnston, RI (1 day in-office).About this PositionWe are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to provide HR services within the HR business unit, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and relevant legislation. This role supports strategic HR objectives, aligning them with operational needs. The ideal candidate will have experience with HR systems and processes, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.Job ResponsibilitiesOversee and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure effective delivery of HR services.Coordinate HR information sessions, refresher training for managers, and application of HR policies.Support and manage the performance and talent management system.Administer employee orientation, exit processes, and terminations.Assist with recruitment, selection, and related HR administrative tasks.Job Skills/RequirementsBasic proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.Experience with UKG Pro and Oracle is preferred.Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment.Additional InformationHybrid work environment (1 day in-office in Johnston, RI).Opportunity to work in a dynamic HR team with career growth potential.Pay Range: $24 - $26/hourYUPRO Placement is the nation’s leading skills-first placement firm placing and promoting historically overlooked talent into permanent hire, apprenticeship, and contract job assignments.
