As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Organize and update financial records as needed (digital and physical).
Preparation and submission of quarterly and annual financial reports.
Oversee team members' day-to-day account transactions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and bank reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
Monitor accounting discrepancies and report them to the Accounting Manager.
Ensure accuracy in general ledger.
Coordinate internal and external audits, manage tax payments, and return filings.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as a senior accountant with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with relevant accounting software.
