Aaron Enterprises, Inc., a Trenchless Utility Contractor in the Mid-Atlantic Region based out of York, PA, is seeking skilled tradesman experienced in or ready to learn horizontal road boring, hand tunneling, tunnel boring machines, guided boring machines, pipe ramming, micro-tunneling, and related trenchless utility installations. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Civil Foreperson to join our team in the trenchless utility construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in underground pipe and concrete structure work, along with proven leadership skills.

Key Qualifications:

Industry Knowledge:Willingness to learn and become proficient in trenchless utility techniques such as auger boring and tunneling.

Pipe Installation Experience:Extensive experience with large underground pipes, specifically those with diameters of 36 inches or more.

Concrete Structure Expertise:Skilled in the construction and management of large underground concrete structures.

Construction Experience:A minimum of 10 years in the construction industry, demonstrating a solid understanding of field operations.

Leadership Skills:At least 5 years of experience in a field leadership role, effectively managing and guiding crews.

Primary Responsibilities:

Field Supervision:Work alongside crews in the field, which typically range from two to six personnel, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Project Management:Oversee the installation and replacement of trenchless utility systems, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Team Collaboration:Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, providing guidance and support to crew members.

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years in the construction industry

Ability to climb ladders into and out of earthen pits and trenches

Walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting, lifting, and climbing

Loading and transporting materials and equipment to various job site locations

Assist in job site setup and tear down

Operating specialized construction equipment and vehicles, safely, productively, and according to company policy

Working safely and teaching/learning from others

Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Must be able to work weekends, as needed.

Must be able to travel (frequently out-of-state) and work away from home

Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.

Ability to read and follow construction site drawings, blueprints, diagrams and specifications is preferred

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required

Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and a DOT physical

Preferred:

Minimum of 1-5 years in the Trenchless Industry

Ability to weld and attain D1.1 welder certification

Class A CDL
