Dispatcher
Full-time: Wednesday – Sunday 10:00am- 7:00pm
York, PA
MUST PASS A DRUG TEST
The role requires dispatcher to ensure safe, on-time delivery for various customers drivers and trucks and customers
This is a temp to hire position.
How You’ll Help
Ability to Multitask effectively
Ensure driver success through relationship building, effective communication, positive recognition and timely addressing of issues (performance and personal related).
Provide complete load information, including routing, ETA’s and directions to ensure drivers are fully prepared for work assignment.
Checking Customers incoming emails as well as working with customer systems to ensure proper notifications and updates are being provided.
Monitor all on-board ELD message communication.
Maintain accurate and complete files for all records within TMS System – For drivers, trips and customers.
Answer phones and electronic communication from both drivers and customers.
Monitor TMS System software and customer systems for correct trip information and flow.
Utilize various tools in the ELD System and TMS System systems per company processes and procedures.
Updating rate cons within our TMS system daily (50-60)
Your Skills & Experience:
Minimum of a high school Diploma or GED, with Logistics experience preferred.
Knowledge and experience in Transportation
TMS System software expertise preferred.
Experience with PeopleNet or Qualcomm systems.
Communication skills – Very high level of verbal and written communication.
Demonstrated customer relationship skills and excellent customer service.
