Collaborates with staff to enhance speech and language development in the classroom setting for students K-8th grade.
Completes all job duties within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.
Determine eligibility of students for speech therapy services.
Use a variety of service delivery models, evidence-based practices, and facilitate professional development for teachers and support staff.
Provides accommodations in the classroom including visual aids or supports, or augmentative communication systems.
Provide speech and language therapy for eligible students.
Participates in team meetings for the development of students’ individualized education programs.
Completes relevant paperwork within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.
Qualifications :
School-based and/or pediatric experience working with K-8th grade children.
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.
Valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
