The Production Supervisor is responsible for overall site production operations. Creates a work environment which promotes safety, quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness. Effectively develops teams that can achieve corporate improvement objectives. Accountable for all aspects of plant production performance while ensuring objectives are attained in a cost-effective manner. Drives best practices through the organization and leads process improvement.

Determinestaffingrequirementsweeklyandre-deployresourcesduringtheweekasneededtoaddress any shifting staffing needs or changes in priorities and scheduling.
Reviewsandanalyzesproductionreportstodeterminerootcausesofvariancefrombudget,anddevelops and executes corrective actions, using structured root cause analysis, MDI and Policy Deployment methodologies.
UsingLeanprinciples,formteamsandinvolvepeopletoimproveproductivity,decreaseleadtimes, reduce waste and attain customer quality requirements.
Reviewsandanalyzesproductionreportstodeterminerootcausesofvariancefrombudgetanddevelops and executes corrective actions.
RecommendandinitiatecostreductionprogramscenteredaroundcapitalimprovementswhereROIand pay back criteria are favorable.
Promotes,prepares,andparticipatesinkaizenactivities.Sustains results.
FacilitatestheexecutionofdailyGembawalkby assuringtheproperutilizationofhour-by-hour,SQDC boards and War Room tools.
InconjunctionwithHumanResourceManager,coordinatesappropriate"requiredtooperate"and "required on roles" staffing levels.
Directstheeffortsofplantsupervisiontoensuretheconsistentapplicationofhumanresourcepolicies, procedures, and plant rules.Assures adherence to safety accountability guidelines.
Coachesandmentorsteammemberstoassuretheirongoing development
Staysabreastofnewtrendsanddevelopmentsinmethods,techniques,equipment,tools,materials,and supplies,whichmightbeincorporatedinto theproductionprocesstoincreaseefficiencyorbetteruseof resources.Researches and recommends capital equipment purchases.
Participatesinspecialprojectsandperformsotherdutiesas assigned.Qualifications:
Ahands-onleaderthatisarolemodelwithhigh integrity,positiveinfluence,andstrongbusinessacumen that embraces change, possesses a continuous improvement mindset, and has a passion for exceeding customer and company expectations.
DegreeinEngineering,IndustrialTechnologyorBusinessorequivalent10yearsofstafflevelleadership experience.
Minimumof7years'experienceinOperationsand/orLeanManagement.
Printingindustryexperienceis preferred.
Experienceinbeingachangeagentincomplextransformational activities.
Significantexperienceinimplementationof Leanprincipalsastheyapplytomanufacturingoperations.
Ability toapplystructuredproblem-solvingmethodologi stodeterminerootcauseofproblemsand provide effective countermeasures.
