Become a member of the Johnson Controls family and thrive in an empowering company culture where your voice and ideas will be heard - your next great opportunity is just a few clicks away!What We Offer:Competitive salaryPaid vacation/holidays/sick timeComprehensive benefits package including 401K, medical, dental, and vision care- available day one!On the job/cross training opportunitiesEncouraging and collaborative team environmentDedication to safety through our Zero Harm policyWhat You Will Do:Our Air Handling Unit, (AHU) Application Engineer performs a full range of field commercial and technical support functions including assignments requiring special qualifications/attainments.How You Will Do It!Provide commercial and technical application support to the field sales organization on all aspects of products with minimal directionWorks with a small team of technical employees to provide eloquent resolutions to the selling organization requests for product support with a strong emphasis on Basis if DesignProvide application training and project management, as the need arises, on Air Handling SystemsSupport Customer Visits (factory tours)Participate in testing of AHU selection and pricing softwarePartner with internal teams such as manufacturing, engineering, and Customer Service to resolve order issuesWork with engineering to develop efficient resolutions to unique product applicationsAssist Airside Technical Service with field application issuesDevelop technical documents to support field sales on various areas of air handling application as necessary.Use complex problem-solving techniques requiring regular use of resourcefulness and creativityReview and analyze engineering rules and documents as necessaryRecommend cost savings and value engineering alternatives for Air Handling Units and systemsProvide technical direction for other specialists, drafters or technicians on specific work assignmentsBe proficient at preparing, checking, and coordinating the release of documentation to support productsBe proficient and extrapolating ideas into product requirements and apply the philosophy of concurrent engineering with manufacturing processConduct feasibility studies and systems analysis for new applicationsStrive for continuous improvement and teamwork in product development and processesYou need a career focused on tomorrow.
