Penn State York is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach an introductory general chemistry lab course (three hours) to approximately 15 students per section.Responsibilities include:

Demonstrating common lab techniques (titration, filtration, handling glassware)

Instilling good lab safety practices

Grading lab reports

Administering final examsCandidates should meet the following qualifications:

A minimum of a master`s degree in chemistry or in appropriate discipline from an accredited institution is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.A teaching demonstration will be required as part of the on-campus interview.
