This is an excellent opportunity to gain one-on-one experience, working with students, ranging from seven to seventeen years old. This 1099 contract position is for anyone who has decided, or may decide, or has previously worked with children. Examples are potential teachers, behaviorists, psychologists, occupational therapists, etc.
Strategies 4 Success, LLC, is seeking a part-time Instructional Assistant (IA). This is a 1099 contract position, ten to twenty-five hours a week (specific weekly hours are authorized, on a student by student basis, and the availability of the contractor).
DESCRIPTION
(The candidate will):
Provide one-on-one support to a student(s) with various diagnoses;
Provide academic and behavior support concurrently.
Follow the treatment plan provided by a Licensed Behavioral Specialist.
Help the student(s) to reduce inappropriate behavior(s).
Assist those responsible, for the student, in fostering greater independence and socially responsible behavior via modeling.
Record data and chart progress of the student.
Work under the supervision of a master's level therapist.
Must be available 3 weekday mornings and/or afternoons (minimum)- you will travel to the home of the student. The educational platform is delivered via computer in the student’s home (virtual learning).

Must have reliable transportation. Aside from a competitive starting hourly rate, the contractor is reimbursed for driving (from home, to the student, and back home) at the present Federal mileage reimbursement.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have excellent multi-tasking skills (You will be required to assist the student with lesson content).
2 years of postsecondary study (60 college credits)
Minimum requirement as per PDE
Prior experience working with children is encouraged.
Professional liability insurance is covered by the hiring agency.
