International Paper CDL Driver FULL-TIME $23.31/hr 2164 Locust Gap Hwy, Mt Carmel, PA 17851 Local Route CDL A Truck Driver Duties include making scheduled pickups on established routes to corrugated box customers throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. Drop off finished products to the customer plant where plant personnel will load the next shipment. This is the ideal driving position, with a local route. No overnight driving, and with frequent interaction with customers, drivers, and plant personnel. If you are safe, reliable and enjoy interacting with customers, THIS IS THE JOB FOR YOU! This is a union facility and seniority prevails. Perform pre-trip inspections of Tractors and trailers consisting of approx. 15 minutes of walking, squatting, and bending to perform safety inspections. Complete paperwork, sign Bill of Ladings, complete a “Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report”, approx 5 minutes. Working on an on-board computer as a means of completing “Driver’s daily driving logs”, approx 10 minutes throughout the day. Climbing in and out of Tractor as needed. Hand cranking landing gear to hook and unhook trailers. Hooking and unhooking air lines and electrical lines. Opening and closing trailer doors. Spotting trailers to docks. International Paper drivers are not required to load or unload product. All product is loaded and unloaded with the aid of forklifts. No touch freight. Follow all safety procedures.
