A Materials & Process QC Engineer supports pipeline projects for Quality & Compliance. This position will also provide support for the Materials & Process product line.Key Responsibilities:Material and parts testingCollaborate on in-house testing parameters and strategy for internal vs. external testingExecute on and document process and results for 3D printed specimen fabrication, preparation, and associated testingOwn, manage and perform or schedule preventative maintenance for the material testing equipmentFacilitate external and company-internal collaboration for material and part testingNew materials and equipment testingInstall and qualify new equipment in the labDevelop SOPs for use of new equipment when necessary, in collaboration with the manufacturer as appropriate, with the intention to eventually hand equipment off to the broader DevOps group for production workInternal communication and standardsCollabroate and lead development of spreadsheets and templates for data collection, organization and basic charts and graphs to capture simple trendsAssist in developing SOPs, best practices and Quality & Compliance related knowledge to both share internally to our group, and in a data repository, such as OneDriveAssist in organizing material testing information in a company-wide understandable format and accessible location, such as a SharePoint site
