LABORATORY PLANNING AND SCHEDULING ASSOCIATEWEST POINT, PA This position will be 90% remote while COVID restrictions are in place, however, will be expected to be on site once restrictions are lifted. Project Description:
- Under the direction of the Laboratory Scheduling Associate Director, the Project Specialist with gather data for implementation of a new Laboratory Planning and Scheduling tool.
- This position requires strong collaboration with supervisors in the eight Testing Laboratories, to collect testing assay operational data to develop and implement the new system.
- The Associate Director has generated a Project Plan for the overall execution.
- The Project Specialist will gather the details required for the plan and help execution by interacting with the Laboratory Operations personnel.
- This will be an office-based project management position with a primary focus in collecting and organizing scientific data from multiple manufacturing testing labs.
- The Specialist may also assist with evaluation of customer product complaints and pharmacovigilance activities.
- This is an entry level role for a new graduate in the STEM field.

- Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent.
- 0-3 Years of experience
- Degree in related science field with experience reviewing and coordinating clinical/regulatory documentation.
- Basic QC/functional testing and knowledge of lab safety and SOP's.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with Laboratory Teams.
- Organized Project Management / Coordination skills.
- Proficiency with Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Undergrad research or project experience
- Familiar with online scheduling tools/platforms
