Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or

Ability to create and deploy software programs without technical mentorship needed
Knowledge of (or ability to quickly learn) a variety of languages or frameworks such as Microsoft .NET or C#
Experience with databases (e.g. SQL) is a plus
Experience with software design concepts and graphical user interface design
Experience with agile methodologies
Ability to understand and incorporate user feedback
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively both individually as well as in a small team

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A. Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S. Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston. FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations.
