DescriptionAre you able to lead, influence and direct a team to provide quality care and outstanding performance in the areas of direct nursing care, regulatory compliance and best practices?If you answered YES, consider joining Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services as our next Director of Nursing.As the Director of Nursing you will:

Direct Center nursing activities to assure the delivery of quality nursing services, in accordance with established nursing procedures, regulatory requirements, Devereux Standards of Care and best practices.

Serve as a nursing expert: provide leadership, training, and ongoing support to nursing staff.

Maintain adequate workforce and staffing levels to ensure compliance to quality of care and ratios.

Establish and update nursing policies and procedures

Coordinate and collaborate with other departments including medical, admissions, operations, quality management, etc.

Participate in regulatory site visits, investigations and quality management initiatives

Compensation: $114,000 - $130,000

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), residential treatment (RTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.#SponsoredQualificationsEducation Required: Graduate of an approved School of Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master’s degree preferred. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.Experience Desired: Three (3) years previous supervisory experience required, in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
