Description Robert Half is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support a firm in West Chester, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable with a strong background in accounting and a passion for accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:· Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying, coding, and entering invoices into the system.· Ensure all invoices are properly approved and supported by appropriate documentation.· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.· Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.· Monitor and maintain vendor accounts, ensuring accurate and up to date information.· Collaborate with internal departments to address any invoice or payment-related inquiries.· Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support for audits.· Maintain organized and accurate records of all account payable transactions.· Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.Requirements
Strong communication, customer service and organizational skills.
1+ years of accounts payable experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration preferred.
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds.
