Directional Driller

The position assists the Projects Supervisor in providing degasification and abandoned mine verification drilling services for Iron Senergy’s Cumberland Mine. The position will also assist the Projects Manager in the construction and maintenance of in-mine gas lines and the plugging of in-mine directionally drilled boreholes prior to mining.Major ResponsibilitiesPerform in-mine directional drillingProvide support in the plugging of in-mine directional drilled boreholesMaintain drill and associated equipmentAssist in the construction of in-mine gas linesPerform weekly gas line maintenanceCoordinate with mine management on tracking information associated with drill plotsPerform other duties as directed by the Projects Supervisor
