Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position in the Marketing/PR industry for a Sr. Software Engineer in Wayne, Pennsylvania. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in various aspects of software development, from designing complex software components to ensuring high-quality code through unit tests on complex algorithms. Responsibilities: Adopt and promote standard coding practices within the team and across the technology organization. Contribute to the design, research, and development of complex software components. Ensure high quality of code by constructing unit tests for complex algorithms. Collaborate with other engineers across the technology organization. Participate and take an active role in sprint commitments to ensure team goals are met. Facilitate cross-functional meetings and encourage participation from all team members. Proactively communicate project status and deliverables to key stakeholders. Challenge the team to consider long-term code quality and maintainability. Lead design sketch reviews within the team and across the entire technology organization. Author complex technical documentation and design sketches at a solution level. Acquire new skills and techniques and apply them within assigned engineering tasks. Analyze and troubleshoot advanced software constructs. Requirements Demonstrated experience in a senior Software Engineer role or similar within the Marketing/PR industry. Proficiency in C# - Sharp is required. Comprehensive experience with SQL Database management and operations. Familiarity with Apache Kafka and its practical applications in marketing and PR. Proven ability in developing and debugging software applications. Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment and taking the lead when necessary. Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders. Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing work under pressure. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Dedication to continuous learning and mastering new technologies.
