We are looking to fill this Senior Accountant role immediately, so apply today! This short-term contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the Wayne, Pennsylvania area.Major responsibilitiesBe a part of various department-wide initiatives
Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Review financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests
Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP Requirements - Proven ability to work and communication well with manager-level associates
Detailed and have the ability work independently
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Reconcile Vendor Statements experience
Deep understanding of Process Vendor Invoices
Reconciliations experience desired
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
Proficient in ERP systems
