Description:Actalent is seeking an experienced engineer for a top customer located in the Warminster, PA area to provide engineering support and leadership for projects including capital, process & product development, and research & development within the manufacturing environment. Responsibilities will include:
Project engineering/management including developing scope of work, engineering drawings, technical specifications, schedule, and job costing.
Research alternatives and recommend optimal solutions to assigned projects
Manage equipment suppliers, internal resources and outside vendors and contractors to meet project goals
Communicate continually with management on project plans and status
Ensure a safe and proper work environment by compliance with Company, OSHA, SQF, local, state, and federal standards and regulations.
Perform high level troubleshooting to optimize efficiency, safety, quality, and downtime
Provide equipment and process support to manufacturing
Train and instruct maintenance, production and quality personnel
Qualifications:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with overseeing projects including design, timeline, and budget
Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software
