As part of this role, you will support functions in our District 2 office maintenance unit. Responsibilities will include conducting inspections to analyze data. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our transportation systems. DESCRIPTION OF WORKThe primary responsibility of this position is to support the District reimbursable activity reports (RAR) coordinator and assist with RAR tasks, which involves conducting inspections to identify and document property damage, such as guiderail and signs, along the District 2-0 Interstate Corridor and other locations within the District as required. In addition, you will complete daily review of incoming police reports for potential property damage in all counties within District 2-0, coordinating physical damage reviews with County RAR Coordinator within 5 business days of incident notification, creating RAR notifications and work orders promptly, and documenting necessary repairs accurately. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Clearfield.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience as a Technical Assistant; or
One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

This particular position also requires possession of a current driver's license which is not under suspension.
