DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will oversee the effective application of regulations, guidance, policies, and procedures related to the bureau's programs. Additionally, you will offer expert technical insights on complex issues related to fate and transport analysis and computer modeling. You will also create and engage in presentations at conferences, symposiums, and industry roundtables to elucidate and advocate for the bureau's programs. Full-time employment
Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $67,678.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Special Requirements:
This position requires the possession of an active license as a professional geologist issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists.
This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
Other Requirements:
PA residency requirement (https://www.employment.pa.gov/Additional%20Info/Pages/default.aspx) is currentlywaived for this title.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
