DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and overseeing a team of equipment operators and laborers who will be using various heavy construction equipment and tools to carry out a wide range of general highway maintenance tasks. Additionally, you will be required to maintain accurate records of field work, report any incidents promptly, and participate in complaint investigation and resolution. Furthermore, you will be responding to highway-related complaints, keeping road log records, and recommending work priorities and schedules to optimize operational efficiency. You will also be expected to manage resources effectively to minimize downtime and ensure smooth project execution. Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

Work hours subject to seasonal change.

This position may require dual shifts, overtime, and travel as needed.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience as a Highway Foreman 1;or

Two years of experience in the performance of lead work or skilled tradesman duties on a highway maintenance or construction project;or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirement:

This position requires possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania Driver's License.

Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
