DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will proficiently handle a range of light and heavy construction and maintenance machinery to execute diverse projects under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation's Wilkes-Barre District Office. Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,785 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience as an Equipment Operator A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or

Two years of experience in the operation of heavy construction and specialized maintenance equipment used at this level with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more; or

Any equivalent combination of experience or training.

Special Requirements:

This position requires possession of a valid Class C driver's license.

Conditions of Employment:

This position requires that candidates possess a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) .
