THE POSITIONAre you an experienced electrician looking for a unique opportunity? The Pennsylvania Farm Show and Expo Center is seeking an individual for a full-time, 40 hours a week position at our exciting, fast-paced, and one-of-a-kind facility grounds in Harrisburg. DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will be responsible for providing skilled electrical and audio system support for both on-site and off-site facilities at the Farm Show Complex. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facilities during vendor-controlled events and routine maintenance. Some of your duties will include setting up, operating, and maintaining audio equipment, troubleshooting lighting and audio systems using networked computers, installing and repairing audio lines for the public announcement system, and coordinating with event promoters and staff to meet customer needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating the electrical power distribution system at the Farm Show Complex. Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with 30-minute lunch.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Successful completion of the Electrician Trainee program (commonwealth title); or

Four years of experience installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, components, and equipment; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements:

This position requires possession of a valid license as a journey-level electrician issued by the local Pennsylvania jurisdiction.

Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
