This position affords the opportunity to oversee fiscal staff regarding all county, state, and federal reporting to secure funding streams and adhere to all regulations in order to further our mission. DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a County Fiscal Officer 2, you will assist the Agency Administrator in major operational decisions concerning the fiscal department and provide advice regarding protocols with the fiscal unit to benefit and streamline agency procedures and processes. Work involves developing or assisting the state, federal, and local governmental agencies to maintain the yearly budget for Beaver County. You will be responsible for maintaining complex fiscal accounting rules and regulations, receipts and expenditures, and reviewing and assisting with program funded and fee-for-service provider agencies. This professional also conduct audits and is responsible for the IV-E audits and Attorney General Audits of Finances. You will develop processes and protocols to assist the Administrator in the operation of the agency to benefit state regulations, county policies, and BCCYS policies. Strong orientation to detail and organizational skills are utilized to maintain cost allocation plans, time studies for the state, and fiscal and accounting records and requirements. You will ensure payroll functions involving time and attendance, pay information, and overtime records are up to date and in accordance with policy. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a County Fiscal Officer 1; or
Four years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related associate’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
Two years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.
