THE POSITIONAre you looking for an entry-level position where you can help support a meaningful mission? Cambria County is seeking a full-time Clerk Typist 1 to help with the daily office functions of our Area Agency on Aging. Join us and help with our mission to enhance the quality of life of older citizens by promoting their well-being, dignity, independence, and safety through compassionate sponsorship and social service programs. DESCRIPTION OF WORKA Clerk Typist 1 is an entry-level position performing routine clerical work. Responsibilities include filing, typing, and data entry. This position will also be responsible for answering incoming phone calls, checking an answering machine, and greeting visitors. Work also involves preparing outgoing mail, and helping to sort, open, and distribute incoming mail. Be part of something bigger than yourself with our team!Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Legal Requirements:

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.

This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
