DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Clerical Assistant 2 you will provide clerical and office support to your assigned division. You will be responsible for filing, typing a variety of documents, inputting data, operating office equipment and maintaining computer databases and records. You will utilize appropriate computer software programs to complete daily assignments. Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
Graduation from high school; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
Three years or more of experience using Microsoft Word.
Three years or more of experience using Microsoft Excel.
Two years or more of experience answering and assisting with incoming telephone calls.
Two years or more of experience utilizing various office equipment such as a personal computer, copy machine, facsimile machine, and postage meter.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
