DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The County Fiscal Officer 2 is responsible for the daily operations and overall fiscalmanagement of the Department of Human Services, Administrative Program Fund, and Accounts Payable Unit. In this role, your work will include budgeting, accounting, and closing of the Department of Human Services administrative ledgers using various cost accounting formulas, in collaboration with responsible fiscal staff. You will have the opportunity to supervise a team of fiscal staff.Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a County Fiscal Officer 1; or
Four years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related associate's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
Two years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accountingOther Requirements:

You must pass a background investigation.
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
