Please do not apply here, apply internally through Workday.If you are NOT a current employee or student, please click "Apply" and complete the application process for external applicants.JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:The Laboratory of Marina Feric in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Center for Eukaryotic Gene Regulation at the Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Research Technologist - Life Sciences (Professional). The Feric lab takes an interdisciplinary approach to uncover the biomolecular driving forces underlying the organization of the cell in the context of human health and age-related diseases. Job duties include maintaining lab space, cell culture facilities, and a microscopy room, ordering supplies and managing inventory, assisting in lab safety, and contributing to new and ongoing research activities. Preferred experience includes protein purification, cell culture, and genetic engineering in addition to basic molecular/cell biology techniques. Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

This position typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This is a limited term position funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of refunding.
