The Department of Biobehavioral Health at The Pennsylvania State University (http://bbh.hhd.psu.edu/) is seeking applications for a Research Assistant to join the Epidemiology and Genetics Across Populations and Societies Lab. The research assistant will work on social epigenomics and epidemiologic research related to obesity in diverse populations. They will assist with literature reviews, coding, and project management.Candidates for this position should have past experience in the areas of public health, biology, anthropology, or sociology. Past experience in statistical programming (SPSS, SAS, SUDAAN, Stata, R, Linux, etc.) is required. Experience or past training in genetics or epidemiology is viewed positively.The anticipated start date for the position is as early as January 2024, on an hourly and part-time basis.Qualified candidates must hold a Bachelors degree, or have completed all of the requirements for such a degree by the time of appointment.
