The Lee laboratory in the Department of Chemistry at The Pennsylvania State University seeks to fill a position for assistant research professor beginning in June 2025 with a biophysicist who has extensive experience in experimental biophysics. A Ph.D. in physics or related area must have been conferred by the time employment starts. Three or more years of postdoctoral experience is also required. The applicant should be highly self-motivated and is expected to pursue their own individual projects as well as contribute to collaborative research efforts and assume leadership roles within the group.Interested and qualified applicants should submit applications electronically and should include (a) a cover letter describing your background/prior training and (b) a CV. Following a screening of these application materials, a selection of candidates will be contacted by email and asked to arrange for a remote interview that includes a presentation of prior research (45 minutes) and for 2 letters of recommendation to be sent.Review of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
