Help Desk Analyst

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an IT Specialist to join our team in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania. This role requires you to provide comprehensive IT support across all our main sites, including management of computer systems, printer and scanner maintenance, and account management. You will also be required to liaise with various stakeholders and ensure the continuity of technology resources.Responsibilities: Provide multi-level IT support for all employees, contractors, and temps, including software and hardware support, from answering technical general questions to troubleshooting complex issues. Maintain records of support transactions through the ticketing system, including documenting issues, email communications, updates, and resolution steps. Conduct computer diagnostics to investigate, plan, and resolve problems. Manage staging, configuration, deployment, and installation of equipment as needed. Assess and support network equipment connectivity; troubleshoot switches, access points, and firewalls. Uphold security protocols for account management, privilege/access control, data handling and sharing, and site access security. Assist in managing and maintaining the datacenter to ensure continuity of systems operations and address any failures/issues. Participate in project planning and implementation for specialized project tasks such as hardware upgrades, software upgrades, data backups, or infrastructure upgrades. Provide high level of customer service, maintaining professionalism and effective communication with all users. Skills: Familiarity with Citrix Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deskside Support, Desktop Hardware. Requirements A minimum of one year of experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar Proficiency in Citrix Technologies and an understanding of EO/IR systems Experience with Database management Familiarity with Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge and experience in working with Active Directory Understanding of Computer Hardware and Configuration Management Previous experience in Deskside Support and Desktop Hardware management Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-stress situations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry trends.
