Maintenance Technician Print/Lam

Job SummaryResponsible for all aspects of Maintenance including but not limited to rotogravure printing presses, laminators, and all ancillary equipment.Responsibilities Focus on printing and laminating department, serving as main contact representing Maintenance Department Main task is to improve reliability of equipment working with Print Lam Department. Ensure communication and mentoring of Maintenance Technicians regarding current actions and status of Printing and laminating equipment. All support equipment for printing and laminating is within the scope of the position, not limited to humidity equipment, RTO performance, chillers, and material treaters. Ensure fitness and safety of all electrical and mechanical systems through routine testing. Troubleshoot issues and repair all production machinery.Essential Skills/Knowledge A strong electrical aptitude Working knowledge of printing and laminating. Knowledge of winding theory of continuous rolls. Ability to read electrical control schematics. Ability to read mechanical drawings. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician and a working knowledge of maintenance processes and methods. . Mechanically inclined and understand how to use a variety of tools, common appliances, and devices. A basic understanding of HVAC, hydraulic, chillers and plumbing systems. Experience/Qualifications Building Maintenance Technology Certification. Knowledge of PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers).Physical Demands Stand for long periods of time Be able to lift 50 or more pounds Be able to bend, crawl and climbThis job description does not list all of the duties of the job.
