Job Specific ResponsibilitiesWhat:
Serves as a subject matter expert (SME), technical expert, and point of contact within the MSAT upstream process, specifically, bioreactor operation (viral and bacterial), small and large scale optimization, development, process engineering and validation.
Support new technology evaluation, development, and implementation.
Leads execution and documentation of development and/or validation studies and leads and manages groups and task force in the planning of engineering, investigational, and process validation runs.
Perform troubleshooting at MSAT and operations with respect to the upstream antigen production process.
Write protocol, reports, procedures, and memos as needed to support development and validation work.
Participates in the network for the field of expertise, within Sanofi. Works collaboratively and cooperatively within MSAT and with Operations, QA, QV, and RA to accomplish business needs.
Responsible for coaching and mentoring junior personnel and educating and maintaining technical knowledge in workforce.

About youEducation and Experience:
Bachelors in sciences with 6+ years of experience Masters in basic sciences, math, engineering, or pharmacy with 3+ years' experience or PhD with experience in biological processes or analytics in a cGMP environment.
