Pay: $33.00 - $43.00/hr + $6.00/hr shift differential on Saturday, Sunday & MondayShift: Saturday - Tuesday 5:30am - 5:30pmLocation: Pen Argyl, PAPosition: Techo Bloc is on the hunt for their next industrial maintenance technician.  Our technicians are highly proficient in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and welding.Duties/Responsibilities:Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day: Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace mechanical components such as motors, gear boxes, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and screws.Repair/troubleshoot hydraulic cylinders, valves, solenoids and pumpsIdentify and make hydraulic hoses as neededAdvanced welding and fabrication skills.  Must perform welding in various positions, locations and weld various types of jointsAbility to properly operate band saws, torch, drill presses, grinders and other shop toolsPerforms installation of new equipment.  Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.Familiar with interference fits and bearing heatersStart or jog equipment to perform maintenance tasksTest malfunctioning machinery, identify parts needed and complete repairsRepair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.).Document and perform all preventative maintenance tasks as required to maintain equipment dependability.Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.Perform other duties as assigned.
